(Summary description)Welding quality requirements
a) Electrode coating: The coating should be uniform and tightly wrapped around the welding core. The surface of the electrode should be smooth, and no defects such as rust, oxide scale, cracks, bubbles, impurities, spalling, etc. are allowed.
b) Welding rod exposed core: the coating should have sufficient strength, the coating should be chamfered at the arc ignition end, and the end face of the welding core should be exposed to ensure easy arc ignition. The exposed core of the electrode shall meet the following requirements:
① For low-hydrogen electrodes, the exposed core length along the length direction should not be greater than 2/3 of the core diameter or 1.6mm (the smaller value of the two)
②For other types of electrodes, the exposed core length along the length should not be greater than 2/3 of the core diameter or 2.4mm (the smaller value of the two). The manufacturer will issue a quality certificate for each batch of electrodes based on the actual inspection results. Query by the supply and demand side;
